Naturopathy is an all-natural way of healing. In itself Naturopathy is a complete professional therapy including diet, exercise, supplements and hydrotherapy. Some traditions of naturopathic training also link with some of the hands-on professions such as osteopathy or chiropractic and the practitioners of these latter disciplines may advocate other measures to help to restore full health
Our human body is made up of five basic elements i.e. 1) Earth, 2) Water, 3) Air, 4) Fire and 5) Ether. Any disease of the human body must be affecting these five basic elements in some way or other. Hence these five basic elements must be used in treating those diseases. This is the philosophical principle behind naturopathy.
As said above, both diet and exercise are vital elements in achieving and maintaining optimal health through naturopathy and most of us can make adjustments in these areas.
