It is rightly said- one man’s food, another man’s poison. No two individual are similar as per their physical and mental constitution. So, the diets would also vary from individual to individual. Ayurveda classifies individuals into three basic types or Prakrutis. i.e. Vata, Pitta and Kapha. Predominance of a certain Dosha (like Vata,Pitta or Kapha) determines a person’s Prakruti. And one should respect his own Prakruti and follow a dietary regimen that would promote harmony and not create imbalance of Doshas in his system.

Also Ayurveda advices to take different types of foods according to the time of the day like morning, mid-day and night. Also different dietary regimens have been advised for different seasons like summer, winter etc. Lastly Ayurveda also advises different diets for different disease conditions as well. It is said in Ayurveda- if one follows a wholesome diet then there is no need of medicine; and if one does not follow a wholesome diet then also there is no need of medicine(as it will be of no use).We at Ayurdwar help to find out a proper diet for your Prakruti and disease condition if any.
